Dec 27, 2024: Our tutorial on "Going public with you CPS code and data" is accepted at CPS-IoT'25 week.

Nov 15, 2024: I'm invited by Improv Science Theater 4000 to present my research on traffic waves at Third Coast Comedy Club (Nashville). It's rewarding to see people find my research 

Nov 1, 2024: I've been selected as a finalist in Vanderbilt University's 11th Annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.

Oct 23, 2024: My work has been selected for a Lectern Presentation at the Recent Advances in Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics, one of the most prestigious events at the TRB Annual Meeting.

Oct 22, 2024: I'll present my work on "Freeway anomaly detection via autoencoder" at Doctoral Student Research in Transportation Operations and Traffic Control at the 104th TRB Annual Meeting.

Oct 14, 2024: We support the experiments from JRC at I-24 MOTION testbed.

Oct 6, 2024: I HAVE A DREAM! Can it become reality?! Let's see.

Oct 4, 2024: I gave a talk at VU-ISIS AITraining Seminar on I-24 MOTION Data Tutorial.

Oct 2, 2024: I gave a talk at the joint seminar series by Prof. Jonathan Sprinkle and Prof. Dan Work on our latest work on freeway anoamly spatio-temporal detection (FAST). 

Sep 26, 2024: A big step! Our paper "FT-AED: Benchmark Dataset for Early Freeway Traffic Anomalous Event Detection" is accepted by NeurIPS 2024 Track Datasets and Benchmarks. Transportation and AI, more to come.

Sep 24, 2024: I helped with the organization and served as teaching assistant of the first tutorial for Reproducibility in Transportation Research. Thanks Cathy, Bidisha, Irene and Zuduo for putting this tutorial together.

Sep 24, 2024: I orgainzed and gave the opening remarks on the first Vehicle Trajectory Data Camp at ITSC 2024 at Edmonton. We received a very positive response, and the panel discussion was a great success. Special thanks to the fantastic organzing team. Thanks to our community.

Sep 19, 2024: I give two guest lectures on "Traffic Sensing and Data Analysis"  for for Vanderbilt CE4240/5240 students with hands-on tutorial on I-24 MOTION data anlaysis. Now, undergraduate students are able to work with this incredibly large-scale trajectory dataset!

Sep 4, 2024: My talk on "Enabling stop-and-go wave analysis for massive trajectory data" appears at the prestigious venue of the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion in Crete, Greece! Hopefully it will unlock the potential of the next generation traffic wave anlaysis!

Aug 28, 2024: I gave a talk at the joint seminar series by Prof. Jonathan Sprinkle and Prof. Dan Work on the Scalable analysis of stop-and-go waves.

July 28, 2024: I joined the RERITE Working Group. Look forward to contributing more on the reproducible research in transportation.

July 18, 2024: Our workshop proposal on vehicle trajectory data camp is accepted by ITSC!

July 15, 2024: I attended the ISTTT25 and visited MCity. Thanks Vanderbilt Professional Development & Training Grant.

June 13, 2024: Our stop-and-go wave analysis paper is accpeted by TRC-30 conference!

June 1, 2024: Our dataset and interactive visualization for early freeway traffic anomalous event detection (FT-AED) is now available, which is the first large-scale lane-level freeway traffic dataset for anomaly detection.

Apr 23, 2024: I visited Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.

Apr 19, 2024: I presented my poster at Vandetbilt University 2024 VIRAL Symposium.

Feb 23, 2024: I presented at Vanderbilt Univerity Civil and Enviromental Department 3-minute thesis presentations.

Jan 10, 2024: We hosted the first I-24 MOTION data tutorial.

Jan 9, 2024: My proposal was selected as 2nd place for TRB 2024 Freeway Operations Student Research Needs Challenge.

Jan 7, 2024: I attended the 103rd TRB Annual Meeting with the I-24 MOTION team.
